Egg Masala!!

Egg Masala it is...!!!


This a quick fix for a full meal.Slurpp.Or that day when you are out of groceries ;).

Ingredients

For Masala
1 n 3/4 cup finely chopped Onion.
1 n 1/4 cup finely chopped Tomatoes.
1 tbs ginger garlic Paste.
1 tbs finely chopped green chillies.

Salt as per taste.
1/2 tsp Turmeric.
1/2 tbs chilli powder.(this is a bit spicy dish hence 1/2 tbs.Add kashmiri chili powder for the color)
1/2 tbs Coriander Cumin powder.
1/2 tbs Garam Masala.
1 tsp schezwan Sauce.
1 tbs tomato ketchup.(something tangy)
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh coriander leaves.
Egg preparation
3 to 4 eggs boiled and cut in half.
1/4 tsp each of chilli powder,salt and turmeric.
few tbs of oil.

Procedure

For the Masala.
Take a pan.Add few 2-3 tbs of oil.
Add finely chopped Onions.
Then add ginger garlic paste.
Add chopped green chilies.

Cook it till the onions start turning translucent and almost cooked.
Add all the dry spices.Cook till it starts leaving oil.
Add salt.

Add chopped tomatoes.
Cook for 2-3 mins.
Add schezwan sauce and ketchup.
Then add 1/4 cup of water.Cook till you see oil on the sides.
Add chopped coriander . Masala Gravy is ready.

Eggs preparation.
Add some oil in a pan.Then add pinch of chili powder,turmeric and salt.Spread the oil over the pan.
Then place the eggs cut side down.Cook till it gets a light brown color.

Remove from the flame.
Before serving Heat the gravy and place the eggs cut side up in the gravy.
Njoyyy with rotis nans or even rice.

Paneer Tikka PIzza!!

Paneer Tikka Pizza....!!!







Ingredients

Pillsbury Pizza crust Dough.(thick crust or thin crust)


1 cup Green Peppers sliced lengthwise.(about 1 inch long)
1 cup Red Onion sliced lengthwise.(about 1 inch long)
1 cup paneer cubed.


About 1 cup Marinara sauce or Traditional Italian Sauce.


1 tsp red chilli powder.
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp Coriander Cumin powder.
1 tsp Tandoori Masala.


Salt as per taste.
1 tbs Olive oil.
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.

Procedure

Add all the dry spices and oil to the paneer cubes and let it sit for 15 mins.


Preheat the oven to 380 F.
Spread the pizza dough on the parchment paper lined tray.
Pinch the dough about 1 cm from the edges to contain the sauce.

Use the fork to poke the pizza dough.(this step is optional)
Spread the sauce on the pizza base.
Then spread the sliced Bell pepper and Onions.
Then place the paneer cubes evenly covering the whole pizza.
Then load the pizza base with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Place the pizza in the oven.
After 5 mins increase the temperature to 400 F.(cooking at 380 F first helps the pizza cook through)
After the cheese starts bubbling put it on low Broil mode to give the cheese slight golden brown color.
Bake the pizza for 10 more mins or till the crust turns golden brown.
Serve hot.
