Chilli Paneer!!
Ingredients.
1 n half slab of paneer 600 grms or 21 oz cut into 3/4 inch cubes.1 cup cubes of red bell pepper.
1 cup cubes of yellow bell pepper.
1 cup cubes of green bell pepper
1 n half cup cubes of red onion.(i feel red onions are firmer n tastier)
1 tbs finely chopped ginger garlic.
2 green chilies chopped or cut into pieces.
3 tbs of corn starch.
1 tsp chilli flakes.
1/4 tsp crushed pepper.
2 tbs chili garlic sauce.
2 tbs tomato ketchup.
1/2 tsp dark soy sauce,
1/4 tsp vinegar.
Oil for frying.
Salt as per taste.
Procedure
Heat oil in a pot for frying.Make a paste by adding water in corn starch.(not too thick and not too thin)
Add chilli flakes and pepper to the paste.
Dip the panner cubes in the paste and fry till slight golden.Keep it aside.DO NOT DISCARD THE PASTE
Then mix the sauces (chilli garlic,tomato ketchup,soy sauce,vinegar)in a bowl keep it aside.
Heat the wok.Add 3 tbs oil.
Add finely chopped ginger garlic.
Add cut green chillies.
Then add all the bell peppers and onion.
Sprinkle salt and cook it on high flame for about 3-4 mins(veggies should remain crunchy).
Make a well in the centre of veggies and add all the sauces.cook for half a minute.
Then add the remaining corn starch paste and cook for a minute.
Finally add the fried paneer toss it for about 2 mins. let it coat well with the sauces.
Serve Hot.
